A recent article from The Howard County Times regarding The Merriweather Post renovations spoke of their plans to be eco friendly , include sustainable changes, and their commitment to becoming a green conscious facility. This family showed their commitment to all things Green in such a creative way. The party included live trees for centerpieces, recyclable boxes with seed plantings , and, Howard County recycle bins. The message was clear and the results were beautiful .

Planning an outdoor party requires months of work. Our planning tip: always be ready for rain! This event really nailed it, as you can see from the dance floor inside the tent! The after picture shows how rainy it really was. The host and hostess had so much fun and of course, the clean-up was also a part of the planning process. Always have one other very important detail in the planning process, of course: a sense of humor!
